Motorola’s new Moto X, Moto G, Moto 360 & Moto Hint

Motorola has unveiled its new line of products, here what was announced:

Moto X (2nd Gen)

The Moto X (2nd gen) is here and it goes premium.

The  curved back design makes a come back, bit this time bigger and bolder. One of the biggest changes for this model is that the frame is now aluminium. The internals have been upgraded

the Moto new  X  will also recognize gestures through IR sensors and the front-facing camera,  You can  wave your hand over it to snooze an alarm or silence an incoming phone call. Battery life has boosted from 2200 mAh to 2300 mAh.

Moto Maker of course is still here, buyers can design their own Moto X in dozens of colors and button accents.

Moto G (2nd Gen)

The new Motorola G  leaps from 4.5-inches to 5 inches screen but maintains the same 1280 x 720 pixel resolution which results in a lower 294ppi. The rear camera steps up from 5MP (f2.4) to 8MP (f2.0) and on the front from 1.3MP to 2MP.

The device now features a microSD slot. The new Moto G  uses the same Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz quad core processor with Adreno 305 GPU.

Moto 360 

The Moto 360, is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher, features a 1.56-inch backlit LCD display with a resolution of 320×290 pixels (205ppi) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Motorola’s smartwatch has a diameter of 46mm, and is 11.5mm thick, weighs 49 grams with the leather strap. The watch packs a 320mAh battery, and Motorola says it will be sufficient for all day.

The Moto 360 also supports wireless charging, and comes with a charging dock and is  powered by a TI OMAP 3 processor with 512MB of RAM. There is also 4GB of built-in storage, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy connectivity, a pedometer, and a optical heart rate monitor (PPG). Other features include a single physical button, a vibration motor, and dual microphones.

The watch comes with IP67 rating, making it water-resistant.

Moto Hint

The Moto Hint is a new Bluetooth headset. The Moto Hint includes a sensor that will automatically detect when the headset is removed from the ear and will shut off the headset upon detection and will switch on when put back in. The headset come with  a keychain charger for charing on the go.
