OPPO Find X10 series pre-orders are open in the UAE, with AED 2,099 in extras

The wait is over. Pre-orders for the OPPO Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max open in the UAE today, October 30, and run until November 5. Early buyers get a bundle of gifts and warranty extras that OPPO values at AED 2,099, which makes this week the best time to get your hands on what we think is the most exciting camera phone of the year.

The Find X10 is priced at AED 5,199 and the Find X10 Pro Max at AED 6,399, and both come with 12GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of storage. The UAE is also the first of the five Gulf markets to get the phones, with Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait following on November 27, so buyers here get to start shooting weeks ahead of everyone else in the region.

We’ve already spent time with the Find X10 Pro Max, and in our full review it earned a score of 4.8 out of 5. We called it the best camera phone we’ve used this year, and one of the most complete flagships, full stop.

The camera system is the star. Most flagships pair one great main camera with weaker supporting lenses, so quality drops the moment you zoom out or in. The Pro Max puts 200MP sensors behind all three rear cameras, so every focal length starts from the same high standard. In our testing, colour and detail stayed consistent no matter which lens we used. OPPO’s new LUMO True Image Engine adds to that with a refreshingly natural approach, holding back on the heavy sharpening and artificial HDR glow that make so many phone photos look fake. Skin tones, foliage, fabric and tricky mixed lighting all came out looking just like the real thing.

Shooting is also more fun than on most phones. LUMO Color Palette offers 18 looks, including film-inspired styles, with simple swipe controls that feel closer to colour grading than applying a filter. LUMO Framing uses on-device AI to suggest a stronger composition, and we found ourselves relying on it far more than we expected.

For anyone who loves zoom, the Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit is the perfect companion, available in the UAE for AED 999. It clips onto the phone and turns the 3x telephoto into a true 10x optical zoom. Because that starts from a 200MP sensor, crops to 20x, 40x and beyond stayed impressively sharp in our testing, bringing back distant buildings and faraway subjects in crisp, usable detail. It’s the accessory that turns the Pro Max into a genuine pocket zoom camera.

Video creators are just as well looked after. The Pro Max records 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps on all three rear cameras, and the main camera captures up to 17 stops of dynamic range. Sunsets, bright windows and neon signs that usually break phone video looked rich and cinematic, especially in Dolby Vision. Open Gate recording, O Log2 with live LUT previews and Blackmagic Camera app support make it a serious tool for anyone making content.

The rest of the phone lives up to the cameras. The 6.78-inch BT.2020 display is the best screen we’ve seen on a phone this year, bright enough at up to 3,600 nits to stay perfectly readable under the UAE sun. MediaTek’s 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro kept everything fast, from editing 200MP photos to scrubbing through 8K footage. The 8,000mAh battery on our review unit comfortably handled heavy days of shooting, and when it did need a top-up, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging got it back in action quickly. IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection means it’s built to handle whatever you throw at it.

If you want a little more phone in a lower price bracket, the standard Find X10 is also a strong option. It brings two 200MP cameras, the same LUMO image processing and the same brilliant display for AED 1,200 less.

With pre-orders open until November 5 and AED 2,099 in extras on the table, now is the perfect moment to make the jump. If photography, video or simply owning the most capable Android phone around matters to you, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the one we’d pick.
