Nothing Ear (3) debuts with case-mounted super mic and sleek metal design for AED 599

Nothing has unveiled the Ear (3), the latest entry in its flagship true wireless lineup, blending upgraded acoustics with a new metal-infused design. Rolling out in the UAE and Saudi Arabia first, the earbuds bring a mix of practical performance improvements and Nothing’s trademark transparent aesthetic.

The standout addition is the Super Mic system built directly into the charging case. Activated via a dedicated TALK button, it uses dual microphones with ambient filtering to strip away up to 95 dB of background noise, letting users make clearer calls or record quick voice notes that sync with Nothing’s Essential Space. The earbuds themselves also house three directional mics and a bone-conduction unit that picks up jaw vibrations, paired with an AI-powered noise cancellation engine trained on millions of audio samples. Together, the system reduces wind noise by more than 25 dB and adapts noise cancellation every few hundred milliseconds for more consistent isolation.

Sound has been given a push too. The 12mm drivers feature a patterned diaphragm with a 20 percent larger surface area than the previous model, resulting in more bass depth, cleaner treble, and a wider soundstage.

On the design front, Ear (3) keeps Nothing’s signature transparent look but adds polished metal accents and a metal-insulator-metal antenna for better connectivity. The case, made from recycled aluminum, undergoes a lengthy 27-step finishing process and skips glue entirely thanks to precision nano molding.

Battery life gets a boost to 10 hours per charge and up to 38 hours with the case, with a 10-minute top-up giving another 10 hours of playback. Wireless charging remains, alongside Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC, and reduced latency for gaming. The buds support Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and work with the Nothing X app for custom controls and AI integrations. Both the earbuds and case carry an IP54 rating against dust and splashes.

Priced at AED 599 / SAR 659, the Ear (3) will be available across regional retailers including noon, Sharaf DG, Jarir, Etisalat, Virgin Megastore, and Amazon, with wider availability in other Middle Eastern markets through October.
