Nothing has confirmed that its next smartphone, the Phone (3a) Lite, will launch on Wednesday, October 29, at 1 PM GMT. The device marks the company’s first entry into the entry-level smartphone category, extending Nothing’s distinctive transparent design and software experience to a broader audience.

A teaser released by the company showcases a single illuminated LED on the back panel — likely part of the Glyph Matrix interface — suggesting that Nothing will retain its recognizable aesthetic even in this more accessible model. The Phone (3a) Lite is positioned as a streamlined version of the midrange Phone (3a), offering a simplified feature set while keeping the brand’s signature design identity intact.

According to early benchmark listings, the Phone (3a) Lite will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset and paired with 8GB of RAM. These specifications point to capable performance for everyday tasks and light creative workloads. The device will be available in black and white finishes and is expected to launch globally, including in India.

The move signals Nothing’s effort to diversify its product range and reach new segments of the smartphone market without sacrificing its design-driven philosophy. By bringing its visual language and software experience to a lower-tier device, the company appears to be positioning the Phone (3a) Lite as an accessible gateway into the Nothing ecosystem.

The launch will take place later this week, with further details on features, availability, and specifications expected during the official unveiling.
