Microsoft Loop gets a major upgrade with new UI, streamlined navigation, and more

Microsoft is giving its collaborative tool, Loop, a major makeover with the release of version 2.0. Expect a cleaner, more intuitive user interface, along with a slew of enhancements that streamline your workflow.

One of the most noticeable changes is the new URL: https://loop.cloud.microsoft. This aligns with Microsoft’s broader push to simplify access across its online services.

The revamped UI is a breath of fresh air, making Loop feel more modern and user-friendly. You’ll also appreciate the new left-hand navigation menu, offering quick access to your meeting notes, favorites, and recent workspaces.

Creating new Loop items is now a breeze with the prominent “Create” button, conveniently located at the top left of the app. Plus, you can add components, pages, or ideas to a workspace directly from the breadcrumb trail, eliminating extra steps.

Staying organized is easier than ever, thanks to the dedicated “Meeting Notes” tab that keeps all your collaborative notes from Microsoft Teams in one place. You can even prep for upcoming meetings by creating pre-read notes and agendas within Loop.

The “Favorites” and “Recent” tabs in the navigation menu make it a snap to find and switch between your most-used workspaces and Loop components, even those created in other Microsoft 365 apps like Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Whiteboard.

Microsoft Loop 2.0 is gradually rolling out to users, so keep an eye out for this refreshed and enhanced collaborative experience!
