Galaxy Z Fold8 series pre-order ends today in UAE

Pre-orders for Samsung’s latest foldable phones close today across the UAE. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, along with the accompanying Watch9 and Watch Ultra2, move into general availability after this final window. Orders placed through samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores or authorised retailers before midnight still qualify for the current set of incentives.

The devices themselves continue the company’s established foldable approach rather than introducing a fundamental shift. The Fold8 Ultra pairs a thinner chassis with a 200-megapixel camera and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, aimed at users who treat the larger inner screen as a primary productivity surface. The standard Fold8 weighs 201 grams and widens the display for everyday media and browsing. The Flip8 keeps the compact form, adds an improved 50-megapixel camera and places more of the interface on its cover screen. Early coverage has focused on these refinements in design and on-device software features, consistent with the incremental updates that have characterised the series in recent years.

Storage upgrades remain available for a limited time. Moving from 256 GB to 512 GB on any of the three phones costs AED 400. Stepping from 512 GB to 1 TB on either Fold model costs AED 800. Trade-in values on eligible older Galaxy Z devices reach as high as AED 3,737. Additional stacking offers include 10 percent off a Galaxy Watch bought with a Z8 series phone, 30 percent off a case, and 30 percent off a watch strap. Digital add-ons bundled with pre-orders cover six months of Google AI Pro, twelve months of Amazon Prime, twelve months of Samsung Entertainer, four months of OSN+ and three months of TOD Sports. Purchases made directly on samsung.com also include the first three months of Samsung Care+ at no extra charge.

These kinds of layered incentives are standard practice when a manufacturer wants to front-load demand before wider retail distribution begins. They reduce the effective price for buyers willing to commit early and help the company gauge initial interest. Samsung has pointed to strong pre-order numbers in Korea, where the series set a company record of 1.44 million units, but regional results often diverge from the home market. For UAE customers the decision still turns on whether the combination of hardware changes, trade-in credit and temporary subscriptions outweighs waiting for potential later discounts or competing foldables.

Once the pre-order period ends, the same devices will be sold without the full package of upgrades and free trial periods. Anyone still weighing the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 or Flip8 therefore faces a straightforward deadline if the current offers matter to them.
