CASIO launches G-SHOCK ‘Rescue Yellow’ series honoring first responders

CASIO has introduced a new set of watches under its G-SHOCK Master of G line, this time emphasizing visibility and resilience with the “Rescue Yellow” series. The launch includes three models—the Gravitymaster GR-B300RY-1A9, Mudman GW-9500MRY-1A9, and Rangeman GPR-H1000RY-1A9—all designed with emergency and outdoor professionals in mind.

Taking visual cues from the high-visibility gear used by first responders, the watches feature bold yellow accents on bands and bezels, paired with black and grey components that give the pieces a utilitarian edge. The color scheme isn’t just cosmetic; it’s intended to enhance visibility in low-light or urgent situations—something especially relevant for rescue and fieldwork environments.

Each model in the collection serves a specific function within extreme-use scenarios. The Gravitymaster GR-B300RY-1A9 is geared toward aviation users, incorporating a Carbon Core Guard structure for durability and a 3D face that improves legibility. It offers a dual-time display and a flight log feature, tools that are particularly useful for pilots or travelers who need to track multiple time zones.

The Mudman GW-9500MRY-1A9, built for rugged terrain, includes shock, dust, and mud resistance. It also carries CASIO’s Triple Sensor technology, allowing wearers to measure compass bearings, altitude, barometric pressure, and temperature—all valuable data for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.

For those pushing the limits even further, the Rangeman GPR-H1000RY-1A9 offers the most extensive feature set. This model integrates GPS tracking, a heart rate monitor, and six sensor functions. It supports nine different activity modes, including trekking, and delivers metrics such as movement speed, distance, and route tracking—making it a strong option for endurance athletes or expedition participants.

With this release, CASIO continues to develop products that blur the line between technical gear and lifestyle accessories. While each of these watches is designed to meet the demands of professionals in high-stakes environments, they also appeal to consumers looking for reliability and bold design in everyday wear.

The G-SHOCK Master of G “Rescue Yellow” collection is now available through authorized CASIO retailers across the Middle East and Africa. The watches cater to a growing market of users who prioritize durability, functionality, and high-contrast visibility in their gear.
