Audio Pro launches WiiM-powered W-Generation speakers

Audio Pro has unveiled a sweeping refresh of its wireless lineup, introducing ten new WiiM-powered speakers under the W-Generation banner. The update spans the company’s smallest portable models to its largest floorstanders, positioning the range as a credible rival to Sonos in the multi-room audio space.

The key change is WiiM integration, which brings expanded streaming support, improved multi-room capabilities, and a redesigned app experience. Users now get access to services such as Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Napster, and TuneIn, alongside advanced EQ controls, room correction, and tighter Wi-Fi synchronization across multiple speakers.

While the external designs remain familiar—largely harmonized with subtle refinements—the audio performance has been reworked. Each model has been retuned for greater clarity, lower distortion, and more volume. The flagship A48 W delivers up to 10–15 dB more maximum sound pressure along with improved tweeter performance, while the compact A15 W has been tuned for deeper bass and longer battery life. This push for stronger performance across the lineup underscores Audio Pro’s aim to compete with more established players in both power and fidelity.

Importantly, all W-Generation models remain backward compatible with Audio Pro’s existing speakers, ensuring that current owners won’t have to replace their setups to expand into multi-room configurations.

With multi-room support, wide service compatibility, and performance upgrades across every model, Audio Pro’s W-Generation is its most ambitious attempt yet to establish itself as a serious alternative to Sonos. For users seeking flexibility across different room sizes and budgets, this may be the company’s strongest positioning in the wireless speaker market to date.
