Not sure about you, but I am one of those people who is always on the lookout for a new charger that offers multiple ports, super fast and safe. In this quick review, we have a close look at the VOLTME Revo 140W GaN fast charger that can change multiple devices at the same time, including your MacBook, Chromebooks, etc, at high speed.

The VOLTME Revo 140W GaN has a very premium feel and is very well built using fireproof ABS plastic which protects the charger from damage. The charger comes with an LED light on the front that indicates charging progress.

For the output power it provides, I was genuinely impressed with its size to be honest. The charger is compact and can easily be travel companion. The brick weighs just 270g.

There are three USB ports for multi-device charging: Two USB-C and a USB Type-A. The first USB-C port supports PD3.1 and offers an output of up to 140W, while the second USB-C port supports PD3.0 and provides an output of up to 100W.

Voltme Revo 140 power delivery chart

During my test, I was Abel to charge my MacBook Pro and got around 60% juice in around 30 minutes using the full power of the charger without anything else sharing the charging output of course. I also charged my iPhone 14 Pro Max from 0% to 50% in around 15 minutes compared to 30+ minutes using a 20W fast charger.

Additionally, I was impressed that I was able to charge two laptops simultaneously.

What is GaN technology ?

In short, GaN or Gallium Nitride chargers are about three times as efficient as silicon-based chargers in converting power to electricity, and they’re more portable, enabling them to charge devices much faster than a regular charger.

Verdict

The VOLTME Revo charger is an excellent charger, essential to anyone who is looking for fast charging capabilities and travel friendly. The inclusion of GaN technology and safety features makes this a superb and reliable option.
