Lenovo is back with a budget tablet, which looks to be a great choice for the masses. We took the Tab M10 Plus for a spin, and we were pleased with the overall performance considering the review version we have (4GB of RAM), and its price point.
Design & Features
The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is packed with a 10.61in IPS display with 2K resolution, slim bezels at an 85% screen-to-body ratio, and a brightness of 400 nits. Additionally, the Tab M10 Plus comes with a quad speakers and Dolby Atmos support, making it ideal for streaming music and watching tv shows and movies.
The Tab M10 Plus has dimensions of 7.45 mm in height and 465 grams in weight, and feature an 8-megapixel cameras on both the front and rear.
Display wise, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is equipped with a 60 Hz, 2000×1200 FHD 10.6” inch panel, at 220 ppi. The display is truly sharp, crisp, and very clear with striking color reproduction from all viewing angles. We’ve enjoyed watching content using Netflix, Youtube and other apps. The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus also has a Reading Mode which includes greyscale and muted colours.
If you are a person who take notes or like to draw using tables, the Tab M10 Plus is compatible with Lenovo’s Precision Pen 2 (sold separately). Lenovo included the Instant Memo notes application, which allows you to instantly write notes and even draw. Lenovo claims The Precision Pen has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity (unfortunately we did not have the pen at the time of the review to test it out).
Performance
The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helios G80. What does that mean in real life usage?
To start, your regular browning, streaming, emails, social media activities are completely fine, and we found no issues at all using multiple apps running at the same time at all, although you could feel the low ram configuration limit when switching from one app to another.
Playing heavy games on the other hand, led to some stutters, which again is expected with the configuration we had to be fair. Lighter games faired much better and ran continuously without any frame drops at all.

Overall, the performance is good though, and achieves its purpose of being a budget tablet for everyday light use and multimedia consumption.
Battery
The device comes equipped with a 7,700 mAh battery, which according to Lenovo offers up to 12 hours in continuous video playback, which we came very near 11 hours while reviewing of the past few weeks, primarily browsing the internet, playing some light games alongside the usual social media and music streaming.
The Tab M10 Plus box includes a 10-Watt charger and takes about 5 hours to charge the tablet from 0 to 100%.
Verdict
The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is a great budget device meant for someone who needs a tablet with a good, large screen for content consumption and everyday productivity. Coupled with great battery life compared to its competitors in the same range, this makes it stand out from the Android tablets crowd for sure.
