City Walk’s Superhero Run returns this November with prizes and family fun

City Walk Dubai is once again turning exercise into entertainment with the return of its Superhero Run on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The family-friendly night run starts at 6:30 pm, offering both 2.5 km and 5 km routes through the open-air streets of City Walk. Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to dress up as their favorite heroes for an evening that mixes fitness, fun, and cosplay.

Participants can expect pre-run entertainment from 5:30 pm, including DJ sets, face painting, and interactive photo zones. The run itself winds through City Walk’s pedestrian-friendly streets, finishing at the main fountain area, where festivities continue with music, refreshments, and award announcements.

The event isn’t just about speed—creativity counts, too. A total of AED 27,500 in TICKIT points will be awarded across several categories. The fastest finishers in the 2.5 km and 5 km races each receive AED 10,000 worth of TICKIT points, while the top three best-costumed participants earn AED 2,500 each. Winners will be revealed at 8:45 pm, giving everyone time to enjoy the post-race atmosphere.

Registration costs AED 65 per person and can be completed through the City Walk website. Children under 12 and People of Determination can participate for free. Organizers recommend arriving early to soak up the pre-race buzz and allow time for costume prep.

Runners are encouraged to prioritize comfort when choosing their superhero attire—breathable fabrics and good running shoes are key. A smartwatch or fitness tracker can help monitor pace and heart rate, while wireless earbuds are great for those bringing their own playlists.

City Walk’s layout makes it an ideal venue for a community event of this kind. The open-air, design-led destination—located near Al Safa Street and Sheikh Zayed Road—spans over 10 million square feet of retail, dining, and leisure spaces. Its urban setting helps the run feel more like a street festival than a traditional race.

With accessible entry fees, family activities, and prizes that reward both effort and imagination, the City Walk Superhero Run continues to be one of Dubai’s most approachable community fitness events. Whether you’re there to sprint, stroll, or simply enjoy the spectacle, it’s a lively way to spend a November evening in the city.
