Play Arabia, the on-demand video streaming service available in 17 countries across the MENA region, today announced its partnership with Sony PlayStation to offer a wide range of blockbuster Hollywood movies and the latest series directly to TVs via PlayStation4 consoles. PlayStation 4 users can now enjoy more than 4,500 hours of the Hollywood movies, original TV series and kids entertainment in full HD – with a number of titles available in 4K. After a 30 day free trial, users can continue to have unlimited access to the entire catalogue for $7.99 per month.

Many TV series are available at the same time they are released in the US, meaning customers no longer have to wait for popular TV content to arrive in the region. STARZ Play also features the complete past seasons of leading TV series, allowing subscribers to bingewatch box sets with no interruptions or commercial breaks. The platform features English, Arabic and French user interfaces, and offers English, Arabic and French audio options. STARZ Play has also recently announced the addition of dedicated Arabic content, including 4K and day-and-date series such as “Saq Al Bamboo” and “Malik Bin Al-Rayb” as well as other popular Egyptian and Levant titles.

PlayStation4  users can look forward to enjoying exclusive TV series from the biggest Hollywood studios such as Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount, MGM, Showtime and CBS. The application will be live as of June 1st 2016.
