After the Middle East and International Finals of the Mortal Kombat Cup back in 2015, Power League gaming now welcomes you to a new challenge, with the 2016 Mortal Kombat XL Cup Middle East Qualifiers, presented by PLG. This tournament registration is open now, and will have Kombatants fight their way to reach the 15 open spot (number 16 will go to 2015 Middle East Champion Sayed Hashim) to the Mortal Kombat XL Cup Middle East Finals.

Not only will the winner and runner-up of the tournament will walk away with a piece of the prize pool,  but also travel and accommodation to take part in the European Mortal Kombat XL Cup Final taking place at Dreamhack in Jönköping, Sweden (on the 18th-21st June). By winning the European Final in Sweden, players will then secure travel and accommodation and a spot to the oldest and most renowned fighting game championship series: EVO 2016 (Las Vegas, U.S.A., 15th-17th July)

This tournament will require competitors to be 18+ of age, and have a valid passport to be able to fly to Sweden for the European Finals, and potentially the United States of America for EVO 2016. Full terms and conditions as well as complete rules and regulations can be read right here!

Online Pre-registration saves you a spot in this tournament, but still requires you to check in and confirm your registration on April 8th before 3pm.

ATTENTION: This PLG Tournament is free of charge, but you will need to buy a ticket to MEFCC 2016 to get access to the venue from the organizer. If you qualify in the final 16 and advance to the Finals on the 9th, you will not have to buy a second ticket as you will get a free ticket to MEFCC 2016 from PLG for Saturday the 9th of April.
