If you’ve seen any of the earlier trailers for Prey, you know it has all the themes and settings of being a pretty scary game. The fear factor may not be like that of Silent Hill but something along the lines of DOOM 3. Bethesda decided it would be a good idea to highlight some of the monstrous things that can pop out and kill you.
The video, which plays like research footage, shows off the Mimic, phantom, and Telepath. Each Typhon varies in movement and attack style and personally the one I find the most menacing is the Mimic, the reason being it can take the shape of any object in the environment. There might be plenty more types of Typhons in the game but for now this is a taster of what to expect.
Prey is made by Arkane Studios, the same masterminds behind Dishonored, and is set to release May 5th, 2017.
