Warner Bros. has announced a shift in its movie release schedule, delaying “The Batman Part II” to October 1, 2027. The film was originally slated for release in October 2026.

Director Matt Reeves recently confirmed that he is finalizing the script for the sequel, with filming planned for 2025.Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Batman.

This delay means a five-year gap between “The Batman” (2022) and its sequel. The first film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $772 million worldwide and spawning the spinoff series “The Penguin.”

Warner Bros. has also adjusted the release dates for other films, including “Mickey 17” and “Sinners.” “Mickey 17” is now scheduled for March 7, 2025, while “Sinners” will be released on April 18, 2025.
