Marvel fans rejoice! The highly anticipated “Daredevil: Born Again” series finally has a release date. Charlie Cox will reprise his role as the Man Without Fear on March 5th, 2025, exclusively on Disney+.
The announcement was made at New York Comic Con, with stars Charlie Cox (Daredevil/Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin/Wilson Fisk) surprising attendees with the news. The series will be a continuation of the original Netflix run, now firmly established within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Inspired by Frank Miller’s iconic “Born Again” comic book storyline, the series will see Matt Murdock facing his darkest hour before rising once again to confront his nemesis, the Kingpin.
“Daredevil: Born Again” is expected to maintain the mature tone and themes of its predecessor, with reports suggesting an R-rating. Fans can catch up on the original three seasons, along with “The Punisher” and “Echo,” on Disney+ before the new series premieres.
A sneak peek of “Daredevil: Born Again” was included in a sizzle reel celebrating Marvel’s 85th anniversary in September. The footage offered glimpses of the upcoming series alongside other anticipated projects like “Captain America: Brave New World” and the “Thunderbolts” movie.
With its return to Hell’s Kitchen and the continuation of Matt Murdock’s compelling story, “Daredevil: Born Again” is poised to be a must-watch for Marvel fans.
