In for some 80s Sci-Fi awesomeness? Here are some of our recommendations on must watch movies that shaped the 80s!

Blade Runner (1982)

A neo-noir dystopian thriller set in a Los Angeles of 2019, where replicants, bioengineered androids, are officially banned but are still being used by the Tyrell Corporation.

The Terminator (1984)

A cyborg assassin is sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, whose son will one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future.

Aliens (1986)

A sequel to the 1979 film “Alien”, following the crew of the USS Sulaco as they are sent to investigate a distress signal from a remote colony on LV-426, only to find it overrun by a deadly alien species. 

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

A young boy befriends an alien who is stranded on Earth, and the two of them must work together to find a way to get him home.

Back to the Future (1985)

A teenager accidentally travels back in time to 1955, where he meets his parents and must find a way to get back to the future without altering history.

Tron (1982)

A computer programmer is digitized into a computer world and must battle for his life against a powerful computer program.

The Fly (1986)

A scientist accidentally merges his DNA with that of a fly, and begins to transform into a hideous creature.
