TechCrunch has reported that Microsoft has sealed a deal to acquire popular iOS calendar app Sunrise for around $100 million.

Sunrise would be Microsoft’s second aggressive acquisition in mobile apps, the company recently purchased iOS email app Accompli for over $200 million and relaunched it as Outlook for iOS and android. The report doesn’t indciate Microsoft’s plans for Sunrise but believes that Sunrise will remain a standalone app.

Sunrise has multiple clients for  iPhone, iPad, the Mac App Store, Android devices, and a web client.

A Microsoft spokeswoman declined to comment on the report.
