Instagram is set to launch its first-ever advertising campaign, in France. Les Echos has reposted that the Facebook-owned app will focus on “images and videos from everyday French Instagrammers” in its campaign this summer.
The new ads will run through August and will be featured on the internet, in theaters, and outdoor media across France.
We are still growing, but it is mostly a way to celebrate our Instagram community, active in France. The content posted by French users will be composed in ad form, head of Facebook France, Laurent Solly said.
The campaign would roll out in other countries later on.
