WhatsApp beta introduces AI-generated group chat icons

The latest WhatsApp beta for Android includes a new feature that allows users to generate group chat icons using AI. This feature, powered by Meta AI, enables users to create unique and personalized icons for their group chats.

Currently, this functionality is limited to group chat icons and is not available for individual profile pictures. However, it is possible that this capability may be extended to other areas of the app in the future.

The AI-generated group chat icons are visible to all members of the group, regardless of whether they are using the beta version of the app. This feature adds a new layer of personalization and creativity to group chats, allowing users to express themselves and enhance their WhatsApp experience.
