Skullcandy has announced the launch of its Method 360 ANC wireless earbuds, priced at an introductory $99.99. As one of the brand’s most premium offerings to date, these new earbuds are designed to appeal to budget-conscious users looking for active noise cancellation and enhanced audio performance without stepping into high-end territory.
What sets the Method 360 ANC apart is Skullcandy’s collaboration with Bose. While the earbuds don’t deliver the same level of performance as Bose’s top-tier QuietComfort Ultra lineup, they benefit from licensed Bose technology and tuning. The result is a pair of affordable ANC earbuds that aim to improve sound quality and comfort beyond what Skullcandy has previously offered in its price range.

The earbuds come with three sizes of ear gels and fit fins to help maintain a secure and comfortable fit, essential for both passive noise isolation and effective ANC performance. The four-microphone hybrid ANC system includes a Stay-Aware mode, allowing users to stay in touch with their surroundings when needed. There’s also a low-latency mode for gaming or watching video content, where audio-video sync is critical.
Battery life is another strong selling point. The earbuds alone provide up to 11 hours of use (or 9 hours with ANC enabled), while the unique sliding case extends total battery life to 40 hours (32 hours with ANC). The case features an O-ring for easy attachment to bags or straps, echoing the design seen in Skullcandy’s earlier Dime Evo series.

The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC also supports modern features like wear detection, which automatically pauses playback when the earbuds are removed, as well as multipoint pairing for seamless switching between devices. Additional perks include Spotify Tap support, Google Fast Pair, and IPX4 sweat and water resistance, making them a potential fit for light workouts or everyday commuting.
Customization is handled through the Skull-iQ companion app, where users can remap shortcut buttons, fine-tune EQ settings, and manage firmware updates. The earbuds are available in five distinct colorways: black, bone, primer, plasma, and leopard print.
While the regular price is set to rise to $129.99 after the introductory period, at $99.99, the Method 360 ANC earbuds offer a mix of premium-feeling features and functionality that’s rare in the sub-$100 category, especially with Bose-tuned sound.
