Shazam update improves syncing with Spotify and Apple Music

Apple has updated its Shazam app with enhanced integration for Spotify and Apple Music. The latest update ensures that songs identified using the Music Recognition feature on iPhone and iPad are now included in the dedicated “My Shazam Tracks” playlist for both music services.

Previously, only songs manually identified through the Shazam app were added to this playlist. With this update, songs recognized using the built-in Control Center option, Siri, or Shortcuts will also be synced.

To update previously synced songs, users can toggle the “Sync your songs” option off and on in the Shazam app settings. This will re-sync all discovered songs to the respective playlists.

This update improves the functionality of Shazam for users who rely on it to identify and save songs they hear. The seamless syncing with Spotify and Apple Music ensures that users can easily access and add their discovered tracks to their preferred music libraries.
