Samsung has officially launched the astronomy-inspired new Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition in the GCC at the Galaxy Open Market pop-up store at Dubai Mall. At the event, Samsung also introduced an exclusive Galaxy Z Flip5 bundle featuring art by Lebanese UAE-based artist Nourie Flayhan. The launch ceremony was headlined by Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.
The Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition celebrates the region’s pioneering astronomy and timekeeping legacy. With its timeless design accented by a rotating 47mm Black Astro bezel, the Astro Edition is the first in a series of limited-edition collections of watches honoring Middle East pioneers while inspiring today’s innovators.
Thanks to advanced health sensors, the Galaxy Watch6 series helps users build healthy habits with unique, in-depth sleep monitoring technology. The Watch6 caters to current trends where users are prioritizing physical and mental well-being.
Samsung has thus collaborated with renowned UAE-based specialist Dr. Nas Al Jafari, the medical director at DNA Health Clinic, to create awareness of how the new Galaxy Watch6 Astro can inspire Everyday Wellness. At the event, Dr. Jafari educated the audience on how to leverage the Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition to track three critical aspects of modern-day health – monitoring heart rate, blood pressure and ECG reading.
The event also saw the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip5 bundle curated by Nourie Flayhan, whose creations explore themes of representation, mysticism, nature, and the emotional draw between natural objects and the human spirit, inspired by UAE’s nature and culture.
The ‘Whimsical Midsummer Collection’ Galaxy Z Flip5 bundle includes a customized Flip5 cover, Abaya and a tote bag. Users can also download an animated wallpaper that compliments the cover design. Included in the box is a poem and a QR Code to download animated wallpaper that compliments the cover design.
Nourie Flayhan’s designs incorporate traditional elements but interpreted for the modern age. This fusion of the past and future reflects how Samsung has reinvited the classic flip feature phone into the cutting-edge Z Flip5, whose advanced design and technology are redefining the smartphone form factor.

The Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition is now available on Samsung.com and retailers. An exclusive launch offer includes complimentary Galaxy Buds2, an additional fabric strap, and a 1-year Samsung Care+. Users can also trade in their old smartwatch for up to AED 1,100.
