Nomad, renowned for its premium Apple Watch Sport Bands, is back with another limited-edition design – “Blurple.” Following the success of previous limited runs like Glow 2.0 and Night Watch Red, this new color is a collaboration with The Verge.
Described as a rich indigo, the Blurple band appears to shift slightly between blue and purple depending on the lighting. It promises to be a unique and eye-catching addition to any Apple Watch collection.

The Blurple Sport Band is made from the same FKM rubber as Nomad’s other bands, making it waterproof, oil-resistant, and easy to clean. It’s designed to be the perfect companion for workouts, especially for those who enjoy listening to The Vergecast or Decoder while exercising.
The band’s minimalist design features adjustable sizing, breathable channels, and a secure pin-and-tuck closure. It’s available in various sizes to fit different Apple Watch models, and the aluminum pin is subtly engraved with The Verge wordmark.
Priced at $60, the Verge x Nomad Blurple Sport Band is now available for purchase on Nomad’s website. This collaboration is part of The Verge’s broader strategy to expand its product offerings, including a revamped merch store with a curated collection of high-quality apparel and accessories.
