Huawei has been generating buzz around its upcoming tri-fold smartphone. Now, the company has finally revealed the name of this highly anticipated device: the Mate XT. This new addition to Huawei’s Mate series, known for its innovative features and cutting-edge technology, is set to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving world of foldable smartphones.

The Mate series has a history of pushing boundaries. It was the first Huawei lineup to introduce a foldable device back in 2019 with the Mate X. Now, with the Mate XT, Huawei aims to redefine the foldable experience once again. As part of the premium “Ultimate Design” brand, the Mate XT is expected to deliver a combination of top-tier performance, luxurious design, and groundbreaking features.

A recently released teaser video hints at one of the Mate XT’s key strengths: its focus on video recording with advanced continuous zoom capabilities. While specific details remain under wraps, this suggests that Huawei is aiming to equip the Mate XT with powerful camera technology that can capture stunning videos with smooth and seamless zoom transitions.

The Mate XT’s tri-fold design is another major highlight. When fully unfolded, it is rumored to boast an expansive 10-inch screen, offering users a tablet-like experience for productivity and entertainment. This large display, combined with the expected powerful performance, could make the Mate XT a versatile device capable of handling a wide range of tasks.

Huawei has scheduled a special launch event on September 10th to officially introduce the Mate XT to the world.Alongside this groundbreaking smartphone, the company is also expected to unveil other exciting products, including the Watch GT 5, the Watch D2, and a five-seater version of the Aito M9 electric vehicle. This event promises to be a showcase of Huawei’s latest innovations across multiple product categories.
