OPPO has officially launched the Find N5 foldable smartphone in the UAE and across the GCC region, introducing what it claims is the world’s thinnest book-style foldable device. Priced at AED 7,999, the flagship arrives with a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration and will be available in Cosmic Black and Misty White. The company is offering pre-order customers a set of OPPO Enco X3i earbuds and a complimentary one-year screen protection plan until May 22.
OPPO FIND N5 REVIEW
Measuring just 8.93mm thick when closed and weighing 229g, the Find N5 is designed to feel closer to a conventional smartphone in the hand. It also becomes the first foldable with an IPX9 rating, indicating resistance to high-pressure water jets—a rare feature in foldable hardware.
The Find N5 features OPPO’s Titanium Flexion Hinge, which is smaller and more rigid than its predecessor, contributing to both durability and a more refined design. TÜV Rheinland has certified the hinge for reliable folding, ensuring resilience over time.

The foldable boasts a large 8.12-inch inner display—the biggest of any book-style foldable currently on the market—and a 6.62-inch outer screen. Both displays offer adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz, peak brightness over 2,000 nits, and support for the OPPO Pen. The screen crease has also been minimized, and the device is the first to earn TÜV Rheinland’s Minimized Crease Certification.
Battery life is another standout feature. OPPO has equipped the Find N5 with a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon dual-cell battery, the highest capacity among current foldables. The phone supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, including magnetic charging when paired with a supported case.
Under the hood, the Find N5 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, featuring a Hexagon NPU for AI-enhanced performance. The onboard AI capabilities span productivity and imaging tasks, with tools like AI Call Summary, Interpreter mode, and AI-driven photo editing features including background eraser, clarity enhancement, and de-blurring.

Photography is supported by a Hasselblad-branded triple camera system: a wide main sensor with lossless 2x zoom, an ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope lens with a 70mm focal length. Unique features include tele-macro capabilities and advanced portrait and manual shooting modes. The Find N5 also captures HDR video in Dolby Vision at up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
The device ships with Android 15 and OPPO’s ColorOS 15, offering multitasking features like Boundless View for three-app setups and context-aware smart split screen. AI integration is central to the OS, streamlining everything from content writing to real-time translation. Google’s Gemini app and Circle to Search are also integrated.
In terms of cross-platform usability, OPPO is expanding compatibility beyond Android. The Find N5 supports file sharing and remote desktop access with macOS via O+ Connect, and also offers one-touch sharing with iOS devices through its Touch to Share feature.

OPPO’s international warranty program covers service and repairs in all supported regions. For users outside the warranty period, service centers offer paid repairs for major components including the screen, battery, and mainboard. Regular software upgrades are also part of the package.
While the Find N5 enters a competitive segment, its emphasis on slim design, battery performance, and integrated AI tools may appeal to users looking for a foldable that balances power and portability with practical features.
