The Delta games emulator has received a major update, bringing full iPad support and resolving the previous issue of the app running in a smaller window. This highly anticipated update, Delta 1.6, allows users to experience the popular emulator on a full iPad screen, taking advantage of features like Stage Manager, Split View, and Handoff. The update also includes a new logo.

The update brings several notable enhancements:

  • Native iPad Support: The most significant change is the ability to run Delta natively on iPads, making use of the larger screen and providing a more immersive gaming experience.
  • Improved Touchscreen Controls: Larger touchscreen controls on the iPad enhance gameplay and minimize accidental button presses, especially in games like Super Mario 64.
  • iPadOS Features: Delta 1.6 supports iPadOS features such as Split View for multitasking and Handoff for seamless transition between devices.
  • Quick Gestures for iPhone: Users on iPhones can now utilize quick gestures for saving, loading, fast-forwarding,and holding games without interrupting gameplay.

Currently, the update is available through AltStore PAL, an alternative app store only accessible in the EU. However, it is expected to be available globally on Apple’s App Store soon.
