At Computex 2025, ASUS is updating its lineup of laptops with a strong focus on creators and AI-powered productivity. The company’s latest ProArt A16 leads the charge, showcasing a high-end design, powerful internals, and built-in generative AI tools—all in a chassis that remains impressively slim for its feature set.
The ProArt A16 stands out with a sleek black aluminum body, a low-profile “stealth” hinge, and a smudge-resistant finish designed to keep fingerprints at bay. At just half an inch thick, the laptop manages to house some of the most capable components available for creative professionals. Inside, ASUS has equipped it with AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 9 HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, officially classifying it as a Copilot+ PC. This designation means the device supports Microsoft’s new wave of AI features in Windows, optimized for local performance.

In addition to Windows Copilot integration, ASUS is including two of its own AI-powered apps—StoryCube and MuseTree—which allow creators to leverage generative AI capabilities without needing to send data to the cloud. Paired with a stunning 16-inch 4K OLED display, this positions the A16 as a serious tool for professionals working in content creation, video editing, or digital art.
On the Chromebook side, ASUS is also rolling out refreshed models, including standard and Chromebook Plusconfigurations built to support Google’s Gemini AI tools. The ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 offers a 14-inch display, 1080p webcam, and up to an Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM—enough to run Gemini AI features locally and gain early access to Gemini Advanced.

The Chromebook CX34, though feature-rich, retains the somewhat awkward branding of a large ASUS logo next to the Chromebook badge. It’s available in more limited color options—white or grey—compared to the more versatile CX14 and CX15.
The CX14 and CX15 models cater to more affordable segments. Both are powered by Intel Core N355 processors, offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and feature a respectable array of ports including HDMI. They also come in a broader range of colors, from matte blue to a variety of grey finishes with subtle texturing.
