Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced an upcoming product launch scheduled for February 19, igniting a wave of speculation about what the company might unveil. Cook’s social media post offered a cryptic teaser, stating, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” accompanied by an image resembling an AirTag.

This has led to several theories about the upcoming launch:

  • AirTag Update: The image in Cook’s post suggests a possible update to Apple’s tracker tag. Rumors of a second-generation AirTag have been circulating for months.
  • iPhone SE 4: Another strong contender is the iPhone SE 4, which is rumored to launch soon.  This new model is expected to feature a significant redesign, including a larger screen and support for Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI-powered tools.
  • MacBook Air with M4: An updated MacBook Air with the latest M4 processor is also a possibility. The M4 chip has already been integrated into the MacBook Pro lineup, and it’s anticipated that the consumer-focused Air will receive the upgrade soon.

While Cook’s teaser remains deliberately vague, the upcoming launch has generated considerable excitement and anticipation. The tech world will be watching closely to see which “family member” Apple introduces next week.
