LG Electronics is bringing its latest high-performance displays to the forefront of the Middle East’s gaming scene during the Dubai Esports Festival 2025, running from May 8–11 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. At the GameExpo portion of the event—open to the public from May 9–11—LG will host an interactive booth featuring its UltraGear™ gaming monitors, including two major regional debuts.
Among the highlights is the 45-inch UltraGear™ OLED 5K2K WUHD monitor, which LG says is the first of its kind globally. The display features a 5120 x 2160 resolution, 330Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms (GtG) response time, specs clearly aimed at competitive gamers. The monitor also offers a pixel density of 125 PPI, aiming to reduce color fringing and enhance visual clarity. Set to hit the market next month, the OLED panel is designed for players looking for both immersion and speed in a single display.
Also debuting in the region is the 31.5-inch 4K UHD IPS Smart Monitor, equipped with a touchscreen and rolling stand. While not strictly for gamers, it’s a productivity-focused display featuring HDR support, DCI-P3 95% color accuracy, and flexible ergonomics—including height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. Features like Picture-by-Picture(PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) target multitaskers and creative professionals who need a flexible, high-fidelity setup.

Lee Seung Jun, Head of IT Sales at LG, described the event as an opportunity to directly engage with the region’s gaming community: “Our monitors are engineered to provide the ultimate gaming experience, and we are confident that attendees will be impressed by their performance and features.”
LG is partnering with local gaming brand Gamenzo for the event, and the company’s booth will be set up across from family zones and other experiential activations. Attendees can test the monitors firsthand through live gameplay demos designed to showcase the speed, color performance, and responsiveness of the new hardware.
The Dubai Esports Festival, backed by Dubai Economy and Tourism, brings together esports fans, industry leaders, and tech brands for several days of competition and exhibition. For LG, it’s a chance to raise its profile among a regional audience that’s increasingly interested in high-spec PC gaming hardware.
