Ubisoft has announced another delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the highly anticipated installment in the franchise set in feudal Japan. Originally scheduled for release on February 14th, the game has been pushed back to March 20th.

Ubisoft stated that the delay is intended to allow for additional development time to incorporate player feedback and ensure a high-quality gameplay experience at launch. The company has been actively engaging with the Assassin’s Creed community and wants to ensure the game meets their expectations.

This marks the second delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which was initially slated for a November 15th release. The repeated delays suggest that the development process may have encountered challenges, and Ubisoft is taking steps to address them and deliver a polished final product.

In addition to the game delay, Ubisoft announced that it has appointed advisors to explore strategic and capitalistic options to maximize value for stakeholders. The company will provide further updates if and when any significant transactions materialize.

Ubisoft has faced challenges in recent times, and the delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, along with the exploration of strategic options, indicates that the company is actively seeking ways to navigate these challenges and strengthen its position in the gaming industry.  Sources and related content
