Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 launch event may now have a confirmed date, with fresh reports from sources within German mobile carriers pointing to Tuesday, September 9, 2025. If accurate, the UAE will likely see the new devices hit shelves on Friday, September 19 with pre-orders opening one week prior, in line with Apple’s typical rollout schedule for first-wave markets, which usually includes the Emirates.
The lineup is expected to include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Air will replace the discontinued Plus model, which struggled in sales. Designed to be extremely thin and lightweight, the Air may appeal to buyers prioritizing portability, though it’s rumored to have reduced battery life and slightly pared-down camera hardware compared to the Pro models.
For UAE customers, pre-orders would likely open just days after the keynote — possibly as early as September 12 — with retail availability beginning on September 19. Apple Stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, along with authorized resellers.
If past years are any indication, UAE pricing will be revealed during the keynote, and availability will cover all major storage configurations and color options from day one. The event is also expected to bring announcements for iOS 19’s public release, alongside updates to other Apple products in time for the holiday season.
