Ticketmaster is introducing a richer and more informative event ticket experience within Apple Wallet for iOS 18 users. This new feature provides users with a wealth of information directly on their tickets, enhancing convenience and engagement.
In collaboration with Apple, Ticketmaster has developed these enhanced tickets to include details such as venue maps, parking information, curated Apple Music playlists, weather forecasts, and real-time location sharing with friends.
“This enhanced ticket in Apple Wallet experience brings fans closer to the action from the moment they add their pass to their iPhone,” says Mark Yovich, President at Ticketmaster.
The rollout of these enhanced tickets begins later this month with Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) at their home game on October 19th. iPhone users with iOS 18 or later who add their LAFC tickets to Apple Wallet via the Ticketmaster or LAFC apps will be among the first to experience this new feature.
Following the LAFC launch, the enhanced tickets will also be available for Miami HEAT games, with broader support for more events planned throughout 2025. This initiative marks a significant step in improving the ticketing experience for iPhone users, offering greater convenience and information access directly within Apple Wallet.
