Inside Out 2 takes us back into the mind of Riley, who is now navigating the complexities of adolescence. Just as her emotions – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust – are getting used to managing her inner world, a new emotion, Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawke), arrives, throwing everything into disarray. It seems Anxiety isn’t alone, and Riley’s emotional headquarters is about to get a lot more crowded.
The film features a talented voice cast, with Amy Poehler returning as Joy, alongside Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Inside Out 2 is directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen.
