Lioness season 2 roars back this fall with new missions and first look images

Paramount+ has announced the return of the thrilling spy series “Lioness” for its second season, premiering on October 27, 2024. The streamer also released a batch of captivating images, including one showing lead actress Zoe Saldaña covered in blood, hinting at the intense action and drama to come.

The show, inspired by a real-life Marine Corps program, follows CIA officer Joe (Saldaña) as she leads a team of female operatives in high-stakes missions against terrorist organizations.

Season 2 promises even more thrilling missions with the introduction of a new operative, played by Genesis Rodriguez.The cast also welcomes back familiar faces like Nicole Kidman as Kaitlyn Meade and Morgan Freeman as U.S. Secretary of State Edwin Mullins.
