Apple TV+ has unveiled the first teaser for “Disclaimer,” a highly anticipated psychological thriller directed by five-time Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuarón and starring Academy Award winners Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline. The seven-part limited series is set to premiere globally on October 11, 2024, with new episodes released weekly until November 15.
Based on the bestselling novel by Renée Knight, “Disclaimer” follows renowned journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett), whose career is built on exposing the hidden truths of others. Her world unravels when she discovers a mysterious novel that reveals her own deepest secret, forcing her to confront a past she thought was buried. As Catherine desperately tries to unmask the author’s identity, she must race against time to protect her family and her life.
The series boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George,Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Hoyeon, with Indira Varma lending her voice as the narrator. “Disclaimer” is a co-production between Apple Studios, Esperanto Filmoj, and Anonymous Content.
