Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions takes flight: pre-orders now open, first gameplay trailer revealed

Warner Bros. Games has officially opened pre-orders for the highly-anticipated Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions,giving fans the chance to secure their copy of the game ahead of its September release. Alongside this exciting news, the studio has also unveiled the “Welcome Students” trailer, offering a first glimpse of the fast-paced Quidditch action that awaits.

Gameplay Trailer Highlights

The “Welcome Students” trailer showcases the game’s single-player Career Mode, where players will embark on their journey to become a Quidditch legend, and the Online Competitive Mode, where they can test their skills against others in thrilling matches. The trailer also offers a sneak peek at the character creator, allowing players to customize their Quidditch avatars, and reveals some iconic playable characters like Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy.

Additionally, fans can get a glimpse of the majestic Quidditch World Cup Stadium and other breathtaking magical arenas set in beloved wizarding world locations.

Pre-Order Bonuses and Editions

Digital pre-orders for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions are now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). The Digital Standard Edition is priced at $29.99, while the Digital and Physical Deluxe Editions are available for $39.99, with no microtransactions planned at this time. Pre-ordering any edition will grant players the exclusive Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin.

The Deluxe Edition comes packed with additional content, including the base game, House Packs for Slytherin,Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor, each containing unique broom skins, Hogwarts travel uniforms, and house crest emblems, along with 2,000 gold for in-game purchases.

Release Dates and Platforms

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will launch on September 3, 2024, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S,Xbox One, and PC. The Physical Deluxe Edition will follow on November 8th for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. A Nintendo Switch version is also in the works, slated for release during the holiday season.

PlayStation Plus Exclusive

PlayStation Plus members will have the unique opportunity to play the Standard Edition of the game for free from September 3rd to 30th, 2024. During this time, they can also redeem the Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin at no extra cost.
