The optional full-length glass roof of the all-new Dodge Charger enhances the open-air feel of the cabin, and along with the large rear hatch provides an expansive glass canopy.

Dodge ignited a firestorm in the automotive world, announcing their all-new Charger lineup for 2024. This groundbreaking move includes the world’s first fully electric muscle car – the Charger Daytona – and reinvigorates the classic gasoline engine with the Hurricane-powered Charger SIXPACK. It’s a statement of intent from Dodge: the future of performance embraces electrification alongside internal combustion, all tied to the brand’s legendary muscle car heritage.

The World’s First Electric Muscle Car

The Dodge Charger Daytona lineup bursts onto the scene promising to shatter expectations. The flagship Charger Daytona Scat Pack boasts a staggering 670 horsepower, launching it from 0-100 Kmh in a mere 3.3 seconds. Not to be outdone, the Charger Daytona R/T delivers 496 horsepower. These models utilize a 400V electric propulsion system, with all-wheel drive and a potent 100.5 kWh battery pack. Dodge even promises customizable engine sound through its unique Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, defying notions of silent EVs.

This is no mere compliance car. Dodge injects pure performance DNA into the electric Charger. PowerShot mode boosts output temporarily, while multi-stage Direct Connection upgrades unlock higher power levels. Standard regenerative braking, along with various driving modes, promises both blistering speed and potential for impressive range.

The Hurricane Blows Away Tradition

For enthusiasts craving the roar of gasoline, Dodge introduces the Charger SIXPACK. Powered by the new Hurricane inline-six engine, available in two versions, it outmuscles the outgoing HEMI V8s. The SIXPACK H.O. delivers a healthy 550 horsepower, while the SIXPACK S.O. produces 420 horsepower. These models promise a classic muscle car experience, complete with standard all-wheel drive for year-round traction.

The Charger’s Evolution

The new Charger’s aggressive design draws on its heritage while pushing boldly into the future. The front R-Wing aerodynamic element nods to the classic Charger Daytona while improving downforce. A sculpted, modern body and an expansive optional glass roof enhance the Charger’s presence.

Inside, the cabin embraces the driver. Large, customizable digital displays dominate the dashboard. Performance-oriented seats, paddle shifters, and drive modes tailor the Charger to the driver’s desires. Plus, with fold-flat rear seats and a hidden hatch, the Charger even retains surprising practicality.

Technology at the Core

Dodge infuses the new Charger with cutting-edge technology. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system offers wireless Android Auto and CarPlay, along with comprehensive connected services. The Drive Experience Recorder (available with the Track Package) turns the Charger into a track-day weapon, capturing video and performance data for analysis. Even the interior lighting is customizable, adding a touch of personality.

Dodge also addresses the practical side of EV ownership. The Charger Daytona R/T boasts an expected range of over 500KM, with the Scat Pack targeting 400KM. Home charging solutions and access to public chargers are made simple through the Free2move Charge program.

Common for all Dodge Charger models is distinctive white LED cross-car full-width front lighting and red “ring of fire” LED rear taillamps, with front and rear lights centered by a lit Fratzog logo — the new symbol of Dodge brand next-generation vehicles.

The 2024 Dodge Charger promises a visceral, tech-laden muscle car experience. Whether powered by groundbreaking electric technology or the potent Hurricane engine, Dodge is signaling that the future of performance is undeniably thrilling.
