Microsoft’s Copilot introduces effortless document analysis

In the realm of artificial intelligence (AI), Microsoft takes a significant leap forward with its latest enhancement to Copilot, introducing a new feature that simplifies the process of digesting lengthy documents. With the introduction of the file-reading capability, users can now drag and drop files into the Copilot chatbox, enabling the AI to summarize or analyze the content effectively. This advancement signifies a step towards making information more accessible and manageable, catering to the demands of the modern digital workspace.

By simply dragging and dropping a document into the chatbox, users can engage with Copilot to glean specific data, get a summary of the document, or delve deeper into its topic. AI’s role in simplifying the consumption of extensive reports and documents is not a novel concept. Adobe’s PDF AI and Copilot for OneDrive have previously introduced functionalities aimed at breaking down complex reports into more digestible formats. However, Copilot’s ability to directly receive and process files marks a significant enhancement, bridging the gap between data accessibility and user convenience.
