Google has just launched standalone apps for Google Docs and Google Sheets for iPhone and iPad – both for free. The apps are also available on android as part of Google Docs.
The free solution is a direct stab at Microsoft’s paid offer on iOS, and for most users the functionality of the free apps will suffice. You can view, create, and edit your documents offline and sync whenever you are online.
