Dropbox is on a roll, just announcing that they have acquired online photo management service Loom.
For those not in the know, Loom is an online photo management system that works with iOS devices and is very similar to what Dropbox’s own Carousel does today. Existing users will be migrated to Dropbox and Loom will not be accepting any new members as of now.
How will this affect Dropbox and Carousel is not clear yet, but expect to see many of Loom’s features be migrated over, and that Dropbox is taking photography and photo management seriously.
