Samsung’s “TouchWiz” might be no more

GEEK DESK

Dec 9

The TouchWiz brand is a troubled one. A choppy, over bloated, and often downright ugly user interface, TouchWiz has irked more than pleased. Although TouchWiz has come a long way in refinement since its inception, it seems that some things are just irredeemable, hence the rumour that Samsung is dropping TouchWiz and rebranding their UI as Samsung Experience.

Perhaps not the most inventive of names, but the latest Nougat beta rolling out for the  S7/edge replaces the TouchWiz name with Samsung Experience in the settings menu. Additionally, it adds your usual bugs and fixes as well as the Samsung Note app and other UI fixes.
