Horizon Zero Dawn Delayed!

News has come directly from Herman Hulst, managing director of Guerilla Games, that Zero Dawn will be delayed until February 28, 2017.  The game had garnered a lot of attention upon its announcement during the 2015 E3 conference. Zero Dawn was an unorthodox concept for those familiar with the lineup of games that Guerrilla Games has churned out so far. It was a mix of third-person action with adventure mechanics with role-playing elements. A lot of the details are still under wraps and probably more will be revealed during the next E3 (fingers crossed).

However, the studio was kind enough to release another trailer but this time focusing more on the story of the protagonist, Aloy.

Hulst added that the reason for the delay was so that the game could be improved to meet up to their standard of pristine graphics and immersive gameplay. It’s good that the studio is taking their time with the game rather than shipping off a half-baked product. This game seems to show a lot of potential to be a hit, even Game of The Year type of potential.
