JETOUR is pushing further into the UAE’s increasingly crowded high-performance off-road SUV market with the arrival of the G700 TOPFIRE, a factory-customized version of its flagship G700 designed around more demanding terrain.
Available in the UAE through Elite Group Holding, the G700 TOPFIRE pairs JETOUR’s i-DM Off-Road Hybrid System with substantial chassis modifications and dedicated off-road hardware. Its electrified powertrain produces a claimed combined 904 PS and 1,135 Nm of torque, figures that put considerable power behind the SUV’s rugged positioning.
Power alone, however, doesn’t make an off-roader. JETOUR has given the TOPFIRE an integrated high-strength steel ladder frame, while increasing body height by 55.6 mm and widening the track by 94 mm. The resulting geometry includes 35-degree approach, 29-degree departure and 24-degree breakover angles. JETOUR also claims the SUV can wade through water up to 950 mm deep.
Traction hardware includes three intelligent differential locks and what JETOUR describes as an auto-cross-axle system. K-MAN nitrogen shock absorbers provide eight levels of adjustable compression damping, giving drivers scope to alter the suspension response depending on whether the vehicle is tackling rough terrain or spending its time on UAE roads.
The specification continues with 305/55 R20 all-terrain tyres, forged aluminium wheels and a ventilated bonnet intended to improve heat dissipation. That last detail could prove particularly relevant in the Gulf, where high ambient temperatures add another challenge to vehicles already working hard off-road.
The G700 TOPFIRE sits on JETOUR’s Generation of All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture, or GAIA, which brings the vehicle’s structure, traction hardware and terrain-focused systems together under one platform. Despite the extensive off-road equipment, JETOUR is still positioning the G700 as a flagship SUV rather than a stripped-back trail machine.
Practicality extends to a roof-rack system rated to support up to 100 kg while the vehicle is moving and 300 kg when stationary, potentially making it useful for camping equipment and overlanding setups.
The G700 TOPFIRE arrives as UAE buyers continue to have an unusually broad choice of serious 4x4s, from established off-road nameplates to a growing number of electrified Chinese alternatives. Its combination of hybrid output and factory-installed terrain hardware gives JETOUR another way to compete, although pricing and detailed UAE specifications will play a major role in determining exactly where it fits in that increasingly competitive field.
