Realme unveils GT 8 pro Aston Martin limited edition in China

Realme has introduced a new special edition of its flagship smartphone — the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin Limited Edition — available exclusively in China. The model marks a collaboration between Realme and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team, blending motorsport-inspired aesthetics with the company’s top-tier hardware.

The limited-edition phone features a turquoise rear panel adorned with the Aston Martin Aramco F1 team badge, along with subtle carbon-fiber elements and neon yellow accents that echo the team’s racing colors. Even the power button carries the same neon hue, a small but deliberate nod to F1 design cues. Buyers will also find two interchangeable carbon-fiber–style camera deco plates included in the box, allowing minor visual customization.

The packaging itself leans heavily into the collector’s theme. The GT 8 Pro Aston Martin Edition ships in a special box containing two custom cases, a uniquely designed SIM-ejector tool, and a charger. Realme has also developed a tailored interface for the edition, complete with Aston Martin–inspired wallpapers, icons, and lock screen designs to match the hardware’s styling.

Under the hood, the device is identical to the standard GT 8 Pro. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display. Power comes from a 7,000mAh battery, and the phone’s Ricoh GR triple camera array includes a 200MP periscope telephoto lens — the same setup found on the regular model.

The Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin Limited Edition is available in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, priced at CNY 5,499 (approximately USD 770). Sales have already begun in China, though Realme has not yet announced whether this edition will see a wider international release.

While the collaboration adds visual flair and exclusivity, it remains largely a cosmetic refresh rather than a performance upgrade. Still, for fans of Formula 1 or collectors of branded tech, the Aston Martin edition offers a striking, design-driven take on Realme’s flagship hardware.
