DeskWorks followed with Chronoscript: The Endless End, a narrative-driven 2D action-adventure with a striking visual style.

Bandai Namco confirmed Code Vein II will launch on January 30, 2026, offering new combat systems that mix weapons, supernatural powers, and companion mechanics.

Pearl Abyss set a March 19, 2026 release date for Crimson Desert, showing off more of its open-world action-adventure set across the continent of Pywel.

Aspyr revealed Deus Ex Remastered, reworking the 2000 classic with modern controls, enhanced visuals, and updated lighting for PS5, releasing February 5, 2026.

Koei Tecmo also revisits its past with Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, built in Unreal Engine 5 and launching March 19, 2026.

Hardware made an appearance too, with Sony unveiling a God of War 20th Anniversary DualSense controller arriving in October.

Gran Turismo 7’s Spec III update arrives in December with two new F1 circuits, eight cars, and expanded features, as Polyphony Digital celebrated 100 million series sales earlier this year.

On the horror front, IllFonic announced Halloween, a single-player and asymmetrical multiplayer title set in Haddonfield, arriving September 8, 2026.

Meanwhile, Eleventh Hour Games is bringing Last Epoch to PS5 with its first expansion, Oryboss.

Let It Die: Inferno will launch December 3, continuing the roguelite action series.

Marvel’s Wolverine took the spotlight with its first gameplay trailer, promising ferocious combat and a Fall 2026 release.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 surprised with a PlayStation 5 debut on December 8, including VR2 support via a 2026 update.

Nioh 3 received a release date of February 6, 2026, alongside a new trailer.

PlayStation Plus revealed its next additions: The Last of Us Part II joins the Game Catalog September 26, while October’s monthly lineup includes Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon. Classics coming later include Tekken 3, Soulcalibur III, and Tomb Raider Anniversary.

Sony also announced the PlayStation Pulse Elevate Wireless speakers, designed for desktop gaming setups.

Housemarque shared a deeper look at Saros, its next PS5 exclusive, set to release March 20, 2026. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds revealed a Mega Man crossover arriving in early 2026. Netmarble confirmed The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will launch January 28, 2026. Finally, ZA/UM debuted gameplay of Zero Parades – For Dead Spies, a new espionage RPG emphasizing narrative choice and consequence.

This State of Play leaned heavily on release dates and fresh gameplay, setting up a packed first half of 2026 while reinforcing Sony’s mix of remasters, established franchises, and original projects.
