Samsung accidentally lists Galaxy S25 Edge pricing ahead of launch

Samsung has inadvertently revealed the pricing details of its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge ahead of the device’s official launch, expected on May 13. The information appeared briefly on a French-language page of the Samsung Canada website, in a section related to promotional discounts for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet.

According to the accidental listing, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be priced at CAD 1,678 for the 256 GB model—translating to roughly $1,200 in the U.S. or €1,100 in Europe. The higher-capacity 512 GB variant is marked at CAD 1,858, which is approximately $1,350 or €1,200. These figures place the Galaxy S25 Edge squarely between the standard S25+ and the premium S25 Ultra in Samsung’s current pricing hierarchy, as previously speculated.

The inclusion of the Galaxy S25 Edge on a discount eligibility list also confirmed other minor details. The phone is expected to be available in Titanium Silver and Titanium Jet Black, and the listing referenced specific serial numbers, suggesting this was more than a placeholder or clerical error.

The Galaxy S25 Edge has drawn attention ahead of its release, primarily for its ultra-thin profile and premium placement in the lineup. Reports suggest it will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a 200-megapixel primary camera. While those specifications position the phone as a capable high-end device, it may come with a compromise: a smaller battery capacity than some might expect for a device in this price bracket. Whether this trade-off will affect overall performance or user experience remains to be seen once full reviews emerge after the official launch.

With the Galaxy S25 Edge price now inadvertently confirmed, potential buyers have a clearer picture of where this device fits in Samsung’s broader smartphone range. Its design and hardware may appeal to users looking for flagship-level performance in a slimmer form factor, but battery-conscious users may want to weigh their options. As always, the final verdict will depend on how well the device balances power, efficiency, and everyday usability.
