Huawei has unveiled a new lineup of innovative products at its HUAWEI Innovative Product Launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event showcased the company’s latest advancements in smartphones, tablets, and audio technology.
HUAWEI Mate XT | ULTIMATE DESIGN
The highlight of the event was the global launch of the HUAWEI Mate XT | ULTIMATE DESIGN, the world’s first commercially available tri-fold smartphone. This groundbreaking device features a unique folding design that allows for multiple configurations, offering users a versatile and adaptable experience. The Mate XT boasts the thinnest foldable design yet, measuring just 3.6mm when folded. It also features the largest foldable display currently available, measuring 10.2 inches when unfolded.
The tri-fold display is made possible by Huawei’s Advanced Precision Hinge System, which supports both inward and outward folding. This innovative design allows for a variety of use cases, from traditional smartphone tasks to expanded screen real estate for productivity or entertainment. The Mate XT also features an Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera with a 10-step adjustable physical aperture, enabling users to capture high-quality images with greater control over depth of field.

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2″
Huawei also introduced the new HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2″, a tablet designed for productivity and immersive experiences. The tablet features a 13.2-inch Flexible OLED PaperMatte Display with professional color accuracy, 1000 nits of brightness, and 2.8K resolution. The PaperMatte technology minimizes glare, reducing eye strain during extended use.
The MatePad Pro offers PC-level capabilities with features like desktop-mode editing and presentations in WPS Office. The tablet supports the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation), and external mice, providing a versatile and adaptable workspace.
The tablet also comes with Huawei’s own productivity and creativity apps, including HUAWEI Notes and GoPaint. A large 10,100 mAh battery and HUAWEI SuperCharge technology ensure long-lasting performance and quick charging times.

HUAWEI FreeArc
Huawei’s first open-ear earbuds with ear hooks, the HUAWEI FreeArc, were also announced at the event. These earbuds feature a comfortable and ergonomic design, utilizing Huawei’s C-Bridge Design and shape memory alloy for a secure fit. The earbuds are also designed for clear audio quality, making them suitable for both calls and music.
The HUAWEI FreeArc will be available in the UAE next month for AED 399.
HUAWEI Band 10
The HUAWEI Band 10 focuses on health and wellness features, including an Enhanced Sleep Health Assistant and an Emotional Wellbeing Assistant. The Sleep Health Assistant provides personalized sleep insights and recommendations based on HRV data. The Emotional Wellbeing Assistant monitors physiological changes throughout the day to help users track their mood and overall well-being.
