Where to watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day at home right now

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has made the jump from cinemas to living rooms, at least for viewers in the United States. Sony’s digital home release went live on October 6, 2026, with reported US pricing set at $24.99 to rent and $29.99 to buy, the purchase option adding bonus features. Viewers in the UAE and much of the wider region have no confirmed local pricing yet, and those dollar figures should not be read as an indication of what regional storefronts will charge.

The bigger question for most fans is when the film will land on a subscription service, and that is where things get murky. No streaming date has been announced by Sony, Netflix or Disney, despite plenty of online speculation. One widely circulated estimate points to a Disney+ arrival around late November, based on the three-to-four-month gap that recent Disney theatrical releases have followed. That is an educated guess rather than a schedule, and it does not neatly fit how Sony films actually move through streaming windows.

Since a January 2026 agreement, Netflix holds exclusive Pay-1 rights to Sony’s films globally, meaning it becomes the first subscription home after the cinema and paid digital phases end. That rollout is happening gradually as existing territorial deals expire, with full worldwide coverage not expected until early 2029. In practical terms, whether a UAE subscriber sees Brand New Day on Netflix first, or on another platform entirely, depends on rights arrangements that neither company has spelled out for this region.

The confusion is a reminder of how fragmented streaming has become for blockbuster releases. A Marvel character, a Sony-owned film franchise and a Netflix distribution deal all sit on top of one another, and viewers are left to work out where a single movie will appear. For international audiences in particular, the gap between US availability and local confirmation can stretch considerably.

Commercially, Sony has little reason to rush. Tom Holland’s fourth solo outing as the web-slinger has been a massive theatrical success, overtaking The Force Awakens in North America and passing $2 billion worldwide. A film performing at that level tends to earn heavily through premium rentals and purchases, and studios are happy to let that window run its course before handing the movie to a subscription service.

For now, US viewers have a clear path to watching at home, while everyone else is left waiting on regional storefront listings and, eventually, a streaming announcement that may still be months away.
