Sell your poop, make money, save a life

Eat, pay the bill, poop, get instant cash back! Beats any bank rewards program if you ask me.

Here’s the deal:

OpenBiome, a non-profit organisation is looking to help those suffering from Clostridium difficile by collecting healthy poop and using it as a treatment.

If you live in Medford, Massachusetts, then you’re in luck, you may be eligible to get paid for pooping. Applicants will have their blood and stool sampled in addition to their BMI and blood pressure noted to determine if they are the right donors.

Research shows that faecal transplant has proven to be the only successfully way to restore patients suffering from Clostridium difficile, a bacteria highly resistant to antibiotics which affects about 250,000 Americans each year and sometimes causes deaths.

Without going much into details and ruin your day (if it isn’t already ruined), the procedure basically requires to insert frozen faeces into the patient, and hope for the best.

OpenBiome pays up to $13,000 per year for quality poop.

So, would you actually give a shit if this goes global?
